Emergency School Closings will also be relayed via the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association (RIBA) website - found here. Families should look for "Warwick Public Schools"

Important: Please do not tie up the phone lines by calling the school's Main Office. Additionally, all staff will be on hand working to supervise children and safely get them home. Feasibly, they cannot be at their computers checking email for continuous updates.

Therefore, the following procedure is in the event that Warwick Neck Elementary School is forced to dismiss early:

Each parent/guardian should have a plan with his/her child explaining to the child where he/she is to go in the event that school dismisses early. A form (downloadable here) is sent home in the beginning of each school year and kept on file for the entire year. Should family plans change, it is the family responsibility to contact the Warwick Neck School Main Office and inform them of the new plan.
If the dismissal is for any reason other than inclement weather, the school will follow the information on the form that each family filled out at the beginning of the school year.
