On Monday, August 1, 2022, Warwick Neck Elementary School was awarded a “School of Excellence” designation by the National PTA.
Statement from Sarah Theberge, President of the Rhode Island PTA:
“As the President of Rhode Island PTA, and a former Warwick Neck Elementary parent and PTA member, I am beyond proud to announce that today, Warwick Neck Elementary was named a National PTA School of Excellence. This was no easy feat and thanks to the efforts of your PTA, your principal, faculty, staff and families, it was achieved!! Many hours of time and energy go into this process and while hundreds upon hundreds of applications are received, only the best schools are awarded this distinction. I am so very proud of this PTA and everyone involved!!
The PTA and I will be planning a ceremony in the Fall to unveil the banner and congratulate those involved but I couldn’t let a day go by without singing the praise of this PTA!! Congratulations!!!!”
