Good afternoon from Warwick Neck! Two updates for parents: (1.) Out an abundance of caution, Mr. Galligan made the decision to hold indoor recess today due to a very large racoon wandering the property, in the daylight, and one that was approaching adults who were outside. Everyone is safe and animal control was contacted. (2.) The Mayor sent an email to Mr. Galligan, in response to yesterday's meeting, with updates that will enhance the area around Rocky Point Avenue for our families. You can find it forwarded to you in your email inboxes at this time. Have a great weekend!

Based upon past rec's from safety officials, the school conducted an unannounced fire drill during lunch, recess, and the passing of classes today. There was no emergency at any point and extra time was added onto lunch to finish eating. The kids responded extremely well and regular operations have resumed. Enjoy the rest of your day!
