Join Warwick Neck School for a fun, exciting, and educational week focused on Social Emotional Learning (SEL)!
Starting Monday, March 4th through Friday, March 8th, students, faculty, and staff will be undertaking great activities and events focused on self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, decision making, and social awareness!
Monday, March 4 - "Mindful Monday Makes a Difference!" -- (Focused Theme: Self-Management) Wear your Feinstein shirt and practice being mindful and thoughtful today!
Tuesday, March 5 - "Teamwork Tuesday!" -- (Focused Theme: Relationship Skills) Wear your favorite team's gear! Practice your teamwork today by reading with buddies and making bookmarks in another class!
Wednesday, March 6 - "Wishful Wednesday!" -- (Focused Theme: Decision Making) What are your wishes and dreams for the future? Show us by dressing up as what you want to be when you are older! (Today, we are also welcoming visitors from various career paths to provide classroom Q&A sessions with students!)
Thursday, March 7 - "Thankful For Me Thursday!" -- (Focused Theme: Self-Awareness) Bring in or wear something that makes you unique (think: your favorite color, something about your heritage or family, favorite activities, etc.)
Friday, March 8: National SEL Day - "Fluffy Friend Friday" -- (Focused Theme: Social Awareness) Wear comfy clothes and bring your favorite stuffed animal to school! Today, we will also make fidgets!
