Movers for Moms

Warwick Neck is proud to partner with "Movers for Moms" as we collect donations of essential items - now through Mother's Day (Sun., May 11, 2025):

"Two Men and a Truck" locations across the United States are collecting donations for distribution to local women's and family shelters for deliver on Mothers Day this year. Warwick Neck Elementary will be one of several donation centers in 2025, as we have done in past years.

Mother's day should be a joyous occasion for mothers, or those who serve like mothers, and their families. Unfortunately, for some individuals, that is not always the case. "Two Men and a Truck" is hoping to change that, alongside Warwick Neck, with a program called "Movers for Moms" - a collection of comfort items and essential items that will be delivered to women and families in need living at New Hope, Inc. in South Boston on Mother's Day.

In recent years, "Movers for Moms" collected more than 266,000 essential care items for women in hundreds of shelters across the nation.

Donations are being accepted at Warwick Neck Elementary now through Mothers Day (Sunday, May 11, 2025). Items requested for the shelter we are supporting in South Boston include:

Baby Wipes, Hand Soap, Mouth Wash, Toilet Paper, Kleenex, Pens, Shaving Cream, Razors, Deodorant, Lysol Wipes, Gallon, Quart, and Sandwich Sized Ziploc Bags, Dish Soap, Sponges, Adult Ankle Socks, Diapers (sized 5 & 6), Hair Accessories, Sensitive Skin Body Wash, Hair Brushes, and Q-Tips.

A sincere thank you is extended to all who support this important initiative at Warwick Neck as we live out our mission as a Feinstein Leadership School.
